The trajectory of growth for women in leadership roles at industry sector such as supply chain and logistics or in the marketing world is quite different from their male counterparts, and women are under-represented in the C-suite or at the managerial level. However, thanks to technological advancements as well as a growing focus on gender equality and diverse opinions at workplace, there is a major movement to push the professional development of women across the industry and that movement is making a major impact.
The key to achieving more representation for women in both these sectors requires providing women a platform to showcase their potential at creating innovative solutions in any industrial sector and thereby motivating and attracting more women to follow their footsteps.
This women in tech meetup discusses how women are leading the charge at increasing diversity in thought leadership within supply chain and marketing.
